OPINIONS NEEDED: Silver Cross Linear Freeway

http://www.silvercross.co.uk/our-ran...inear-freeway/

We are looking at getting the above pram and are really impressed with what we have seen so far (tested it out in Toys r Us ) The only thing is I cant find a Car Seat Base to go with the Ventura Car Seat
http://www.silvercross.co.uk/our-ran...lus/pistachio/

Does anyone know if there is one? or if you have the above model would you recommend it?

We are stuck between this one and the Mothercare MYChoice

Any Opinions welcome on both of them, good or bad! xx

we have this silvercross buggy and carseat reserved on our babyplan. This will be the first Silvercross we have ever tried but we are really impressed with it so far from trying it etc... we just ordered the buggy and carseat together ours isn't coming with a base at all - don't think there is one. GL with your decision x

Hi

The Ventura car seat has to be fitted using a seatbelt - they don't make a base for it.

We have the Silver Cross Linear Sleepover, and will be getting a different make of car seat.
xx

Yup, Belle is right. It doesn't have a compatible base. Just seatbelt strapped in. Be sure it fits in your car though!! The car seat we wanted doesn't fit in our car because we don't have isofix, seat belt buckles are too high for surefix, and the seat belt isn't long enough to strap it in!!! So frustrating!

I'm going to experiment with the Ventura tomorrow and see if it fits in our Astra '03

I have the sleepover and can't wait to get it back from my parents for the next one...
The seat doesn't come with a base, and I'm not sure if we will get the car seat or not...
The linear chassis is really easy to use, after a bit of practice, and I think the sleepover unit is the same as the freeway and this was really easy to change positions
