Maxi-cosi carseat - Axiss?

I'm looking at buying Sofia's next carseat now so I can get my parents to bring it over from the UK (so much cheaper).

Anyway, her first stage carseat is a maxi-cosi and I've been really happy with it, much easier than the other two I've had experience with (jane and römer) so think we'll stick with that brand.

Has anyone tried the Axiss? Is it worth the extra money?

Or is there another carseat that we should really take a look at?

Thanks for your help!

We have the Maxi-Cosi Priorifix (Isofix) car seat & really happy with it. It was featured in 'Which' as one of the safest Group 1 car seats in their crash test results. This is the main reason why we got it.

A couple of friends have the Axiss car seat & they are happy with it. The feature they like is that you turn the seat 90 degrees to place the child in - saves your back!
