Something out of Nothing.

At the end of two weeks...theres not alot left in the cupboards and what is in there just wont go with eachother. So i often have to make something out of nothing. I thought this would be a good idea as new ideas are always welcome..however weird or simple.

My one...

We call it SLOP...lol and altho everyone is going to think it sounds grose, its filling and quite nice.

All you need is a tin of baked beans, an egg and some cheese..

Put beans in pan, heat them up, add egg and stir until mixed, wait 2/3 minutes then add a lump of cheese..when thats melted in..its ready.
i usually serve this on toast or with a jacket potato.

Its good if you need a filling meal but have got nothing else to have...i wouldnt say i serve it when theres other stuff to have..emergency meal! lol

Come on .. whats your something out of nothing meal??

I usually have a lone steak floating around at the back of the freezer and some left over carrots and potatos in the bottom of the fridge. So I usually just make some concoction of stew when I have nothing left.

Or, if I have just potatos and some cheese left...I slice up the potatos into long wedges, bake them in the oven, toss bbq sauce and ranch salad dressing on it, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Mmmm. But then again, I'm not feeding kids yet. Works just for me (and Adam when we lived together)
