Black Spaghetti


Just saw this online... and it freaked me out!
Has anyone tried it? I know that the taste is the same but the look is

Looks gross to me! A specialty store around my place sells beautiful black and white pasta, along with some rainbow colored bows and shells. But I think they're prettier in lovely pots than on a plate!!!

it really does look like worms id have to have some really good sauce with that... how is it dyed that color?

Traditionally it's dyed with octopus ink. I've had it in Spain and Italy, actually my grandmother-in-law gave us some, which I cooked with seafood, it's a delicacy but doesn't really taste any different.
Must say ours didn't look as gross as those pictures, think because ours was much much thinner strands, those do look like worms!
