Char

My sister had a bath/changing unit and it was really useful for her while she recovered from a C-Section, but after that it was just a pain to fill and empty. It also took up space she needed so she got rid of it.

I had a bath support from Mothercare which fit in his baby bath and the bath. Only used the baby bath a few times because I found it too heavy to carry with the water in.

Heres what we have and I'm using it this time round too!

why not get a rubber bath mat fill water to an inch or so and lay babe down in big bath? I do this now,for first few weeks used a bath with a support and now just let melie have a good old splash about she loves it.

Question..................

What's wrong with the kitchen sink? Perfect size for little ones, no filling, carrying, emptying, spilling, great height with you've had a c section, and plenty of space next to it for bottles!

My hv suggested it to me when I said I was struggling carrying the baby bath, and it was perfect.

Granted, it did get a bit awkward when Charlie was getting older, but having only a shower/wet room, we had nowhere else to bath him.

Now he's in the big bath and loves splashing! Oh, and he point blank refuses to sit in a seat in the bath!

I find it soooo much fun can't wait til i get a house with a bath lol i only have a shower here but still try to make it fun!

With maddie i got a plastic water mill that stuck to the side of the bath, a fish that swam and some cups she loved it!!

Also a crab mirror ... she thinks its fab that she can see her self lol
