I had Graco Quattro Travel System good and bad.

Good it included a car seat, bad it is way too heavy and bulky! I sold ours when madam was 6 months old to get a lighter stroller.

I beleive babies should be laid down flat!xx

when me and my mum went looking at buggies when i was a couple of months i saw the chicco one is quite bulky bigger than a mamas and papas pliko the mamas and papas pliko pramettes and pliko pushchairs are good as the fold up not too small but not too bulky they have brought a new one out mamas and papas luna but personally i wouldnt put a baby in this from birth

this is the pramette and i think its value for money as by the time you buy a pram then after baby has outgrown it you will want a pushchair

Pramette turns into forward facing
Pliko with navetta carrycot use as a pram then into pushchair

luna lovely buggy fold really small apparantly fit in a boot of a mini lovely and light but personally not for a newborn.

The pramette are expnesive but rmeber to look around first and go to your local pram shop to have a demonstration on how it works and what it looks like when folded

spunky xx

well I have a Bugaboo and love it. It has a sprung base carry cot and is so comfy for baby. I hate travel systems with a passion as I think they are so bad for babies backs really not good at all.

My next one which I am getting within couple of months is a Silvercross POD (I think its called) I like the look of as seat is padded for extra comfort.

Isnt it the carseats on the travel systems that are bad for their backs though? Mine has a carrycot with it..

I'd imagine alot of stuff were just assumtions (sp) if they really were teh worst thing ever on baby then I'd imagine most would back out of these models esspecially the bigger more reliable known companies & the prices would stay rather low.

Can't stick baby in a carrycot in a car afterall.
