Vitamin Watch

I bought some vitamins to start taking today after a lot of research wondered what everyone else recommended. They have 400 micrograms of Folic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Chromium and Omega-3 in them as well as Ginger Extract and Ginger Root to help calm and soothe the stomach.

They have all the other good stuff in them as well but the ones I have mentioned above are the ones that swayed me to choosing this product. They cost £16.98 for 90 (which works out about £5.66 per month).

The ones I have chosen are

I only took Folic Acid when we were TTC but I got bad nausea in the first trimester and only fancied eating a few types of food (kiwis and chips). I was worried that I wouldn't be giving baby the vitamins it needed so I started taking my OH's multi-vitamins as well as my folic acid. It made my nausea worse and I read that it could be from the Iron part of the supplement. My midwife is very laid back and reassured me that it would be fine to stop taking any supplements. I followed her advice and felt so much better.

I think supplements are fine, I was just letting you know about my experience.

Good luck! Have fun!
