| We got the Silver Cross Linear Freeway although if we were less of a brand-snob we probably would have got the Mothercare one which is almost identical (I think it was called Trenton Delux) and about about £100+ cheaper!! I liked the one-handle design (thought it would be easier to steer one-handed with umbrella or shopping) and the adjustable handle height. It is pretty heavy though.
A few other parents-to-be I know have bought bugaboo prams but that is because it seems to suit their lifestyles (hill walking/jogging etc). They are expensive but I think they said they got them on Ebay for about £300.
Personally I found that one of the biggest deciding factors when we were looking at prams/buggies was finding one that would fit in the boot of a car! Harder than you would think... it actually ended up influencing our car choice too! Babies are expensive!!! |
