Vitamin b complex made my cycles regular but specialist doesnt believe me!

My cycles have always been irregular, ranging from 29 - 69 days. When I took a vitamin b complex for 6 months they ranged from 28 - 35 days. I stopped taking them because I kept getting tummy problems and felt starving for some reason. Now my cycle has gone up the creak again. My specialist has never heard on vitamins regualting the cycle. I have taken clomid for the first time and my cycle is on day 45 and I only just ovulated. Has anyone else taken vitamins that made their cycle shorter? Thanx.

I can't really answer your question as, luckily, I have always had regular cycles. But I have read that B vitamins can improve the cycle - particularly the second part. Maybe it does shorten cycles as well - it did for you anyhow. Can you start taking it again?

Also, what days did you take your clomid? My understanding was that ovulation happened approx 7-10 days after the last tablet, but I may be wrong on that one. Loads of other ladies here have taken clomid, so will most likely know better than me.

xx

I started 50mg of clomid on Dec 16 for 5 days. I had loads of hot flushes a few days after I stopped taking them but nothing else happened. I did ovulation tests from day 12 but didnt have a positive until 2 days ago. I guess the clomid didn't work and I'm just ovulating naturally. I worried about taking the vitamins again as I dont want to get more tummy aches!

Some specialists are wacko. Vit B is KNOWN for regulating some people's cycles. Totally helped with mine. Proof is in the pudding, you know? It lengthened mine but it can do different things for different people. Never had any side affects. Have stopped them now just cos I was on them for months and fancy a break. x
