Anyone with Endo??

Just wondered if anyone with endo could share their story with me. I am awaiting lap & dye and have always had a feeling I have a touch of endo. Any info on symptoms and treatment etc would be much appreciated.
xx

Yep. After Lap and Dye I was told I had multiple instances of endo all over my left side. Now, at my last fertility appointment, it was implied that the endo is slightly worse than I was led to believe. Nothing is blocked but it is on and behind the ovary.

Treatment depends on severity. You can have it removed. They normally remove what they can during L&D but other than that the only treatment I was told was to go on the pill. Endo thrives when the hormone balance sways towards estrogen. Might explain why I had barely any endo pain during my time on Clomid, actually.

Hi there. I was put on the pill at 13 due to painful periods. I was finally diagnosed with endo in 2004 at the age of 20 after years of agony. I had a lap and they removed some with laser treatment. Unfortunately the idiots then didn't follow up with hormone treatment and therefore it just came back straight away. I continued on the pill.
In 2006 when we decided to actively TTC I was put on a GnRH programme, which basically induces a state of menopause. I was on this for 3 months. It was really tough (not looking forward to the menopause the 2nd time round!) but it worked for me, I had it in conjunction with accupunture. I must say I was never one to really believe in accupuncture before but it was amazing.
Unfortunately I did then go on to have a mmc and an ectopic that resulted in the removal of a tube but I wasn't plagued by the endo and in August 2008 I fell pregnant.
Good luck girls, and if you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll try and help.
