Someone elses success just reminds me I havent had mine yet

Feeling really nervy at the moment. A male friend has just told me he has a couple of things to tell me and hasnt had a chance yet but do I want to meet up this afternoon.

But I have already heard from someone else what he wants to tell me. One of the things is that he and his girlfriend are having a baby. I know I should just be happy for them, but it's making me feel sick inside. I've tried not to think about it since I heard, but now he's going to tell me, and I have butterflies as I know I have to look really happy for him (he has no idea we are TTC). I just want to go and hide somewhere.

I think it makes it worse that I don't really like his girlfriend too much so find it hard that she's now got something I want so badly. Anyway just venting really. I'm on cycle day 85 and just finding everything tough right now.

I know exactly what you mean! I've just had my husband's best friend announce an unexpected pregnancy on the same day I was told that I wouldn't ovulate on Clomid on any dosage! I also don't like his girlfriend, she's materialistic and shallow. urgh.

I really feel for you, I don't really know what to advise.. just that you aren't alone..

i know exactly what you are feeling as well..some friend of us just announce us they are pregnant ( after 1 month of trying of course!!!!)...they wanted to see us this week end but i can not bring myself to look at them either...so we told them we were busy....

like you said i am happy for them i am just sad for us ...and to see them it's just to much...right now...

i too know how you feel, my sister just anounced that shes 10 weeks pregnant. I was happy for her yet i feel so guilty for feeling so envious

i cant help but wonder if its ever going to happen for us
