What's the next step - just trying to prepare myself

Hi Ladies

Is anyone on Metformin. Just started taking it for PCOS and I was wondering how long it should be before

arrives? How quickly does it regulate your cycle?

Also if it doesn't work what is the next step? I am having a Hycosy test in Mar to check my tubes and husband is also having tests. I was just wondering how far away IVF is and whether it is something I should be saving for?

Any help appreciated

Hi Kat

i cant really help on the next stages but i started taking metformin in early December. I personally think its fab I had minimal side effects and lost 8lbs in the first few weeks.

I had expected it to bring on my AF but it didnt, I actually got AF 28 days after I started taking it, and i started taking it on about day 30 of my cycle.

Now I didnt have any tests but I think I Ov on day 14 after taking Met so I think it restarted my cycle, mid cycle if im making any sence????
