Possible Miscarraige?

So, I've been on progesterone since ovulation. I was suppose to take the last one last night. However, my period came. Wierd. I didn't think that could come while on progesterone. However, last night before I went to bed, I passed a decent (TMI warning) amount of tissue. I panicked and flushed it. Now I am realizing that I probably should have kept it for the FS and the lab to look at it.

Is it possible that I was pregnant? Is it possible that I miscarried?

I take progesterone as well from ovulation and you can have af while on it. The only way to be sure if you were pg is to go to your doctor and get them to do blood work. Good luck and I hope it was just a late af.

Why so many doubts in your mind?
Just visit a lab and check it for yourself.

No offense but you sounded really harsh, there.

If you are concerned, Vineyard, make a note of it and speak to FS about it. Not sure how progesterone and periods work, tbh, but I am pretty sure a friend of mine used to come on despite taking progesterone. I cannot remember why that was but there was a reason. I shall ask her.

Progesterone supresses AF most of the time, but not always.

I hope you get some answers

I've read two different opinions... some say progesterone delays AF and others say it has no effect at all. Sorry I can't be of anymore help. Can you do a HPT?

Aww poor you Thats terrible...definitely go to doctor and they can do a blood test and check if it was a pregnancy or even do a home PAOS test? I'm not sure how quickly hcg levels tend to go down though...maybe someone in ths m/c section may know?

I spoke to my IVF coordinator and she said that it was more than likely not a miscarraige as my home pregnancy test was negative. She jokingly said, abnormal is normal in this office. Isn't that the truth! lol.

Thanks for all your input.

I just need to calm down. All these added hormones and trying to get the IVF all coordinated is making me crazy. : P

I could go get a blood test done. But, I figure I don't really need to know. Probably easier that I don't know.
