My second appointment with FS is today and Im pooing my pants!

I don't normally get nervous but I can't find anybody with a similar journey or experience to me so I'm clueless.

Wish me luck...

TTC no.1 after 7 years on BCP. Total irregular AF, no predicting it at all. F.S has so far only done blood tests and DH has had 3 S.A. Going for a review this evening.

Most of the other ladies on here have had a lot more tests/investigations done at this stage. Im paying privately for his review so I don't want him to waste my time and brush me off with some excuse about being young, plenty of time blah blah blah

I know I don't ovulate regularly so just give me some drugs to fix it!!!!!!

AAAh I think lots on here have a very similar journey to you! When I went for my appointment they made me have cd2 and cd21 blood tests..they missed off the estrogen so i had to have that done again with the fsh and lh on cd2!! Then husband had to have SA test at their hospital...even though he had done 2 with gp the silly dr didnt accept it. I had to have a HSG on cd1-10 and a TVS and the FU appointmehnt was booked for 2 months later. Hope that helps!

How long have you been trying to conceive and how long have you been off of birth control?

So ladies, had my review this evening and it went brilliantly. At last, I have been diagnosed with PCOS.
Most people would be upset at this diagnosis, but it's a huge weight of my shoulders just to know what's wrong with me.

F.S said some of my hormones were a bit high, and then did an internal examination and scan. The scan took about 2 minutes, Dr was very discrete and it was only a little sore. He was able to show me the cysts on my ovaries and said my uterus and ovaries were very healthy aside from this.

He told me I probably don't ovulate, but then the scan showed that the unaffected ovary had a follicle in it and he called this 'spontaneous ovulation'. Told me I would ov randomly in 3-4 days..... good to know!

He has also perscribed clomid 50mg for my next cycle and I will have to go for a follicular tracking scan on CD 10. DH'S S.A results were 86 mil and everything else was totally normal for him so good news all round.

This is fantastic progress for me and DH and well worth the private fee.
