If you have an HSG done and they find the tube or tubes are blocked, they try to add more dye in there to see if the dye will open up the tube. If not and it's confirmed the tube is closed, they do a laparoscopy, and they go in there and remove whatever is blocking the tubes. Blocked tubes can be due to scarring or other reasons, so depending on what the find is the course of action they will take. Hope this helps!
