Symptoms but Absent AF?

Hey ladies,

I saw in the thread that a number of you don't have regular periods and/or haven't had them at all lately. I was wondering if I could get your input.

I've never had regular periods. Since the beginning it was every other month, then dropped off after the years passed. I was then put on the pill, but I tried different kinds and they made me sick.

Early this year I was able to have things naturally every month for a few months. Then they stopped in May. I didn't have another naturally until August.

Since August, I've been feeling fine. Just no . I tested in September and then in October to make sure I wasn't . I highly doubted it, but you never know.

But, since late October, I have had this HEADACHE that pretty much never goes away. About two weeks after that, I started feeling nauseated, but that wore off. I started feeling better, despite the lingering headache, for a while... And then I - weirdly, as I never get it - started getting heartburn last week.

Last night it was like everything else hit the fan. I started having cramps (not really painful, but noticeable, and really bad lower back pain. My head was throbbing and I thought I was going to be sick.

This morning I feel pretty much them same - if anything, even more like I'm going to throw up.

Do you have any weird/annoying/kind-of--symptoms-but-not problems even though you don't have AF?

(Sorry for the long post, but I'm feeling as well as really ill.)

You poor thing... I have irregular AF but not as irregular as yours by the sound of things. This month It went to 34 days having been 25 days the previous month. I did start to get some symptoms like nausea etc a couple of days before AF started. I didn't test because I gave up on that about a year ago - too disappointing and a waste of money! Any way, I then got serious cramping and period pains 24 hours before I started bleeding. This has been a common occurence and I now know that this has been due to endometriosis. HAve you had another tests to see if you have any diagnosable issues?

Good luck

Thanks, ladies. I have a GP, but he said this was out of his league and that I'd have to see a gyno or a endocrinologist. I've finally found a clinic that looks like it'll take me through everything (preserving fertility, then assistance for ttc, then pregnancy and birth) so I'm excited to go there. They have 'drop in' hours, so I'm hoping to be able to get the ball rolling tomorrow.

I'm going to see if I can get checked out for endo as well as other possibilities. This is just nutty that I get sick but no AF.

@Millnsy - I'm starting to feel like you. Tests are spendy and it's an emotional rollercoaster I just don't care to deal with for now.
