Hi girls, I just wanted to ask a clomid question. My doc told me that after my lap and dye test she is going to put me on clomid. Can I ask how many cycles do you normally get of clomid before you are then referred to IVF? Also, I've read that the most common side effect (30% of women) clomid makes the CM hostile to DH's sperm. Is this the case?

I got three rounds. I got PG on first round (m/c). I am about to start round two. If after this round, and then next, I am not PG. They move the dosage up to 100mg. That's all I know. But, I am sure everyone is diff, and the reason why you are on it probably makes a diff.

I have only been prescibed 3 rounds of clomid, my consultant said because i was down as an unexplained infertility if it has happened within 3 it probably wont so will then be put down for IVF, which does upset me as i know there is a very long waiting list for it, and tobehonest would rather it happen through clomid!

I have unexplained infertility and been given 6 rounds of clomid . I am on round 4 so far then been told that depending on DH sperm count, I can have IUI, ICIS then IVF.

hi guys im pretty new to this!! last year i lost my first baby due to a blighted ovum , i was suprised at my pregnancy at first as it wasnt planned but me n my prtner really got used to the ide of becoming parents so when we went for a scan when i was 15 weeks n found there was no baby we were devatsed. we decided to try again and were shocked when i didnt drop on. Not only that but my periods stopped. Afetr going to the drs time n time again i kept getting told " your young" itll happen in time" its stress!!! i finally got throught to them and eventually got reffered to the infertility clinic!( ive had no period for 6 months and have been TTC for over a year now) after many tests scans and pokes and prods i have just been diagnosed with poly cyctic ovaries , my doctor has just prescribed me a 3 month course of clomid so at the moment im feeling both anxious yet excited!!! id be relly grateful for any feed back from anyone who has been through a similar situation or can just relate to what im sayin. thanks guys wannabemummy xxx
