change in cycle after m/c clomid info?

Bloomin heck! I'm so grateful to everyone out there that has so much more experience.
It seems i have a doctor, completely unwilling to share anything with me! I didn't realise your cycle changed after a m/c. To be fair, i've never had a regular cycle and am on fertility drugs as i don't ovulate. I've just suffered a m/c after unbelievably falling pregnant first cycle of treatment. I'm not allowed to start my next cycle of drugs for another full month, but dr says i may ovulate by myself this month as the clomid may have kick started everything. Does this mean, i may ovulate anywhere from day 12 to day 17?

Sorry, i'm so green about all this, but i don't know anyone else on fertility or anyone else that's had a m/c. All my friends fell pregnant first time it seemed and now there are babies everywhere i look! I am so desperate to start treatment again and am praying this time i get one that wants to stay with me. My head is still spinning from the m/c and the tears threaten to fall on an hourly basis but i'm trying to stay positive and believe that it can and will happen to me. Bit worried as i've heard that clomid can increase your risk of m/c? if anyone has any advice i'd really appreciate it xx

Hi Imac, sounds like your doc isn't really giving you much info at all. I have been taking clomid for 6months and no BPF, yet...

I have read about the increased risk of m/c and not sure why, maybe cos the endometrial lining dosent thicken enough. There are, however, foods like proteins and certain vits and minerals that can really help though. If you google it you can get more info. There are also some really good books written one is by Marilyn Glenville and Zita West's books are very informative. To be honest, hun, most of the info I have gained has been from reading books, the internet friends and the ladies on here. Doctors sometimes don't even know themselves , or are unclear especially as the fertility proceedures can keep changing and updating.

Take care and good luck!
