I'm Currently Feeling: | Right on que spotting arrives...7dpo! Its official, no matter when i ovulate luteal phase remains 7-9days.
I ovulated on cd19 this month and got giddy thinking my cycles had sorted themselves but no, that is not going to be the case, right on que i started spotting slightly yesterday and more so this am, so i reckon by tommorrow ,AF will have arrived.
Im so fed up of this now, seems no matter what i try nothing helps, ive taken B6 which justmade my cycle 46 days but didn't change my luteal phase, ive then taken Agnus Castus for the past 3 months and i thought it had regulated my cycles at 32-34 days but it seems it hasn't. Not sure whether to carry on with this or try Vit B complex now.
I know my next appt is a month and a bit away now and i need to be more forceful but my consultant just fobbed me off last time about my luteal phase and i don't know what to do if he does that again as that is clearly the problem |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am sorry, Hon. Next time you see your doctor, be very firm with him. If he still doesn't listen, can you try a new doctor who will listen, maybe? Good luck, Honey!!!!!!!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I totally understand. If you really are worried about him ignoring you, maybe write out what you want to say and give it to him so you do not forget. (Like, list out your concerns and the evidence you have and make him look at it... if possible, of course)
GOOD LUCK!!! |

| Oh sweetheart I'm sorry (although could I throw the implantation spotting thing out there? or is it def. AF?)
I found that my first appt. with the NHS they fobbed us off and told us to go away for 6 months and just BD every other day (even though we had already been doign that for 18months) - however at my next appt. they were much much more helpful and I went in armed with knowledge and asked for the tests I wanted - and they said yes.
i really think the NHS prob. gets alot of people lying that they are having problems / it is taking over 12 months - I know of a couple of girls (not my friends Id like to add) who had lied and gone to doctors after just 4 - 6 months - when there was really no need to cos they had regular periods etc - and after taking one of the precious appointments (the clinic for my area has fertility appt. only one afternoon a week) they got pregnant naturally in a matter of weeks!!!
so anyway - i think that they are poss. told to fob people off the first time - just to make sure that they definitely arent lying and that when you have the second appt. they will take you seriously.
i have also seen a different consultant each time - so you might have someone different - who is more willing to help you? I really think going armed with knowledge is helpful.
I complained in my last appt. that I was spotting from 10dpo and have ridiculously v light periods and that this was worrying me - at the previous appt. they had told me it was nothing to worry about - but this time he agreed to give me a lap and said that he would arrange for me to have an ultrasound in my luteal phase to see what was going on - so obv. now aking it serviously.
I think partly it s a lottery to see which doctor you get - but i really think me talking about luteal phases and actually asking for a lap because I as worried about endo made him realise I knew what i was on about and he acually helped me.
I hope the month goes speedy fast for you sweetheart - and that you get the answers and help you need.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Heya Lew - sorry to hear the spots got ya again. What I don't get is the total difference in medical opinion over here. Have they not even mentioned to you taking progesterone supplements? For me, the doc was quite happy to put me on them even without prog. tests because he thinks the symptoms of spotting (and short lp) are absolutely related to not getting pg... The pills I take are even available otc here without a prescription and I know a lot of women take them after self-diagnosis. I read Bulgarain ttc forum and almost everyone takes them for spotting/short LP. xxxx |

Bx x x x x | I really hope so hun, im feeling depressed about it now, other months ive not been too bad, AF coming didn't make me wanna cry, i was just dissappointed, this month its different as i ovulated at a normal time and thought i was in with a chance. Im still spotting but this is the normal pattern, ill wake up tommorow and ill be in full flow, happens every time now. Im gonna mention to consultant mid cycle spotting and not leave until they do something about my luteal phase. My GP never did any progesterone tests as i was ovulating so im gonna insist of something like that to check my progesterone levels. |

The healthcare system is supposed to be better in the UK, but they don't do anything? I could walk into the chemist tomorrow and get you a month's supply of progesterone and post it to you! xxx |
