feeling hot, hot, hot....

Oh my gosh, this clomid is making me blow sooooooooooo hot and cold. I took it last night and thought that the flushes may have passed, but obviously not!

Also have had strange pains around ovaries, and a fluttering feeling in upper abdomen(which is quite common now) and sharp pains in my ear!

I know I sound like a right hypercondriact but wondered if I'm just imagining these symptoms or if anyone else was getting anything similar who is taking clomid?

I took clomid for only two months and found that I sweated like nobody's business - it was awful. I took the tablets on an evening thinking it would mean less side effects but the sweating was terrible. One day I remember getting three tissues and folding them up and putting them under my armpits as it was getting embarrassing.

Apart from that, and some sharp ovulation pains I didn't have any other side effects.

You are not imagining them!!!!! the symptoms of clomid are simular to menopause (due to the hormone suppression I believe). OMG it gives me the worst hot sweats that always happen in the most inapropriate places.............also my hair has turned to straw since starting clomid.

Good luck getting your OV and BFP though, it will be worth it then

I had hot flashes usually in the morning when I'm sleeping. I have to take the whole blanket off and even then I was still sweating. I also had pains in my sides.

I had hot flashes as well, but thankfully they weren't bad. I took Clomid at night and it seemed to help with the SE.

I also had that weird pain/tug/twitch don't know WHAT it was!!! at or around my ovaries area.

Good luck, sweetie!

Hi, it's funny that you mention about hair being dry! My skin seems really dry since taking it!
