| Spotting before periods I keep coming and going, but each time I find so much first hand useful information here. You are all great.
Just to sum up, I'm 32 and had 2 very early m/c. Conceived very quickly both times. To our surprise we have now been trying for 14 months with no luck. I've had all blood tests done under the sun and my DH had his sperm count. Both excellent results, which I'm very grateful for. We have just seen the consultant who suggests laparoscopy as a next step.
There is a one question I forgot to ask him. Since my last m/c, my periods are not as perfectly regular as they used to be. They now vary between 26 - 30 days. I've been having a little brown spotting before the proper red blood flow starts. This time it lasted 2 days.
Has any of you have any idea what it can indicate? I keep reading everywhere, it doesn't suggest anything good and it makes me worried. What is your experience?
Good luck to everyone, let's hope the miracle is only round the corner. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hiya hopeful4baby! I'm afraid I don't have any answers but wanted to post as I have the same problem and I am also looking for some reasons. My spotting varies but seems to be getting worse ie last month it started 5dpo and carried on for the whole lp (which is a normal 12-13 days). My doctor said it was due to low progesterone but I've been taking prg. for 4 months and it seems to actually be getting worse! If I don't get a bfp this cycle i will be back at the docs for some more answers. My af also varies from 23-30 days, like you, although my lp does seem to be consistent- do you know what yours is? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Hun,
I am in exactly the same situation as you (well almost, as me and DH are both 36)
We have been ttc #2 for 15 months now, and have had all the tests that you have had done. I am now waiting for a lap and dye too.
I mentioned the spotting to the consultant, but he didn't seem to think it was an issue at all. He said that cycles are classed as regular as long as they are the same amount of days approx????
Maybe he will be more forthcoming with info at the next appointment in November
All the best Hun

| Girls, thanks a lot for your answers.
magicvw - I've properly charted only for 2 months, but both times my lp was 14 days. I've had a bit of a break due to holidays, but I want to try it again with OPKs and I've heard lots of succesful stories with the preseed.
Mazmos - It looks we may go for it at the same time. I haven't had my day set up yet, I only saw the doctor the other day. They thought it could take 3-4 months. Well, we have few more cycle before then. I'm thinking of trying an acupunture, perhaps it could help things.
Just out of curiosity how long did it take you with your first babies? | | | | Status: Offline

Just out of curiosity how long did it take you with your first babies? | Hi Hun - I was only 18 at the time, and wasn't actively ttc - it just happened . I wish it was so easy this time, but then again, I am 36 now, so things slowing down a bit
Mine will definately be before November, as that is when I see consultant again. Will let you know what it's like if you want.
I just hope I get a before then, so don't need to get it done!!!

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm in a similar-ish situation. I seemed to fall pregnant at the drop of the hat before, but they didn't stick. Now I've had a blocked fallopian tube removed, that they think was causing the problem, and I can't get pregnant. S'not fair. Both of our results are fine, grrr.
Last few periods I've been having spotting, about 7 days before AF, it actually stops a day or two and then AF start. Bizarre. Never happened to me before.
Good luck, hope you get your BFP soon. |
