driving me nuts!

I've had thrush for 3 weeks now and every time i think it's cleared up, it comes back with a vengance! I've used creams, I've used double strength cream, I''ve taken a capsule and done a pessary! Just can't be done with all this. It started about the time I OV'd (if I OV'd when I think I did....but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong) I know that persistant thrush can be a sign of pregnancy (but like, let's face it, I should be so lucky) or diabetes, but I'm pretty sure that it's cause I've been on the meds.

If I'm no better by Monday I think it's definately time for a trip to the doctors.

It's doing my head in. I want sex FFS! lol

Aw Mynx I'd see a doc too. I think after a certain length of time they recommend you get medical help. Hope you get it cleared up soon

I had recurrent thrush there for a while. It is so annoying. I'd go see your GP hun if its no better soon. I found that canesten cleared it up for me, but next cycle I had it again. Turns out we needed to treat DH too to break the cycle.

Hi, you might want to see a nutritionist or alternative therapist. You have an overgrowth of yeast in your stomach this can be really common with women and it can be an overload of 'sugars' which the system can't handle! investigating!

yeh...it kinda happens when I'm on the meds, the morphine is in a syrup (well, liquid oral morphine anyway). Also happens when I'm on more than 2 or 3 meds at a time. I've had to use the meds a fair bit these past few weeks, so I know how I got it (or at least I think I know how I got it) but just can't get rid of the damn thing.
