I'm Currently Feeling: | Sperm analysis tomorrow - really nervous OH is having his sperm analysis tomorrow morning and I'm so scared. I've taken the morning off work so I can go with him to the hospital as he said he'd like me too (he has to 'produce' the sample at home but then drive it to hospital).
I've been fine about this up until today and now when I think about it I get butterflies. I just so so want the results to come back as good - I didnt realise I'd feel this nervous about it (almost to the point where I just want to put it off). But at the same time I'm trying to act like I'm not worried at all because I don't think it's fair on him.
I think it's partly that as I have quite bad endometriosis, if anything was wrong with OH it would be an even bigger set back.
Anyway, just wanted to vent as it's all I can think about and still have 24 hours to go!!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Awwwwwwwww you poor thing! Tests can be very stressful and I don't think there is any 'cure' to relax. The only way I find to take things is 'one day at a time, one thing at a time' which I know sounds cliche but is so true. So if you can, try not to think too much about the results. It may come back fine, it may not, either way its our of your control and there are options. I know that its so easy for me to say and not so easy to do, but we've been there before.
My DH had 3 sperm tests (general lab) and 2 'big' tests where they tested lots of other things and the waiting for the results is a killer thats for sure.
Wishing you lots of luck and as I said I know how hard it is to stay calm and positive, but either way you will be fine, i'm sure of it |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks you. FJL you're totally right. I need to keep reminding myself that my worrying wont change anything either way. It sounds silly but sometimes I get myself all worked up because I'm worried - but then I get stressed out because I think by worrying I'm being negative and that those sort of thoughts will affect the results! Basically I need to stop thinking so much!!
We're quite early on in the testing stages and this could go on a while so I do need to find a way to stay calm if I can.
I'm due to have an HSG soon - I was supposed to have one this cycle but when I phoned the hospital they couldnt fit me in within 2 weeks and told me to ring back when I get my next period.
Anyway, thanks for your kind words. I will let you all know how it goes. xx |

xxx good luck xxx | Thanks chick!
I've had laps done in the past where they have removed some but not since ttc - last one was over 2 years ago. They've said they want to do this HSG to check my tubes first and then may do another lap after that and remove what they can of the endo.
When did you have your Lap?

I would have thought they would remove yours at the same time as doing the HSG....??
I had my tubes checked when they did my LAP in may....they werent blocked which is good
they said i had mild endo but it was around my ovaries or tube it was at the back of my womb i think they said....i have an appointment at the infertility clinic in 5 weeks as a follow up so i'm sure they'll go through it all again then.
they said it wouldnt affect my fertility but then i dont think i'm ovulating which can be an affect from endo....and i have been ttc for 5 months and nothing and before i was ttc for 7 months and nothing so something must be wrong
how long have you been ttc?
