I'm Currently Feeling: | well I was a bit disappointed they didn't just offer me a Lap straight off and do everything at once, but I'm terrible for not questioning anything and just agreeing. I think (not that I know much about it) that the HSG is literally just where they put dye through and do an x-ray, and nothing more invasive than that. But the annoying thing is that I have to phone the radiology department when my period starts and they will try to fit me in within 14 days. But I did that and they couldnt fit me in. So just hoping they'll be able to next month.
I've been TTC since October last year.
I hope you wont need your appointment in 5 weeks hun. How come you think you're not ovulating?
xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi hun,
understand how you must be feeling I remember when OH had to get his done< i wasn't too bad. Actually OH is going to get retested on Mon 28th July! The first test he did there was n't enough(TMI) lol, the second one they said was normall, now he is going to get it tseted by the embryologist at the clinic who is more specialist. So we shal see.... am a bit nervous about it noe i'm talking about it but as the other ladies say it's out of our control and there are solutions anyway!
I have a few polysystic ovaries that I'm a bit concerned about but the hospital say I havent enough to have full blown PCOS and they won't do lap op as they say theres a risk and too expensive on NHS.(have been ttc for over a year) |

You should go back and ask them about doing it all at the same time as that has got to be much easier....as they know they will need to do the LAP at some point it would be better just to check your tubes at the same time of doing that....you might get in quicker for that too...
i only had to wait 4 weeks from gyae appointment to operation, i was amazed it happened so quickly
i'm having cycles 35 - 37 days long and never get any ewcm...although i saw 1 blob this month....and i had bloods done a few months ago that said i wasnt so i dont think i am.....i spoke to a lady on here with endo and she said that it can sometimes cause you not to ovulate....and thats why you have longer cycles coz you arent getting rid of an old egg, just shedding the lining as its got too thick and has to go somewhere
my AF only usually lasts 3 days max and thats so short i think
I'm hoping to be put on clomid to help me ovulate if this is the case
how long are your cycles? xx |

| My last three cycles have been 33 days - before that they were all over the place so hoping they have settled down for good now. My temps seem to show I'm ovulating and my bloods came back ok (day 21 test) but I have heard endo can stop you ovulating. This month my period lasted about 4 days but then I've had brown spotting ever since - still have it today and I'm cycle day 10. That's not right.
That was quick for you to get your lap. Was that when you were diagnosed with endo, or did you already know you had it then?
I think I'm going to get OHs test tomorrow out of the way and then have a chat with him about what to do about my tests.

Well apparently he has to get the sample to the hospital ideally within an hour, but no longer than 2 hours.
As for the rest - don't know yet! He's never done one of these before. He's asked me to take the morning off work so I'm guessing that I'll help so to speak! And then I'm guessing we just have some fun then aim as accurately as poss!!
And I guess we'd better make sure our clothes and shoes are at the ready so we can rush out of the door asap!! haha, it's going to be a bit weird I guess!!

xx | thats good then hun at least you can see that you are ovulating.... but the spotting could be something that needs to be sorted....have you asked the doc about that?
yes thats when they found it and removed it at the same time... i was glad it was all done at once as i was in a lot of pain afterwards....just wish it would help me get a BFP soon
good luck with OH's tests, keep as posted chick xxx |
