I'm Currently Feeling: | Good luck finding another doctor - some are so helpful with fertility issues and some just don't seem interested at all. Really hope you can find a better one or get your current one to refer you.
Just wanted to say that I do have both ovaries but only one tube working, so I was kind of in the same situation - one tube is completely blocked and the other is partially blocked, so our chances of getting pregnant naturally didn't look good. 2 1/2 years after I came off the pill I it finally happened though...was just about ready to give up hope by then. Wishing you lots of luck x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have never heard of having to wait 3 years, regardless of your age, 12 months is usually all they ask for. I have both ovaries, but one sits behind my uterus so they will not be able to take any eggs from that ovary in IVF as the catheda ( sp?) will not safely reach....or so they say.
Somebody said to me, remember....it only takes one egg and one sperm to create a miracle.
Best of luck, | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I only have one ovary, lost it when I was 16, I conceived my DD on one ovary after 6 months or tryind about to begin testing (my DR did not want me to go more then 6 months of TTCing on my own before intervention b/c I onyl had one ovary) here we are TTC#2 and on our 9th cycle and 3rd cycle of medication (clomid and HCG shots (3) ) I just wanted to you know I concieved without help the first time and with help this time (hoping for this week) and it is possible. GL, and you should go see a DR to help you, after 6 months with a preexsisting condition (1 ovary past problems) they should see you. |
