As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | IVF in Feb 2009! We have just got back from Aberdeen assisted reproduction unit - 2 hrs there 2 and a half hours back! am pooped, but got some pizza hut leftovers to munch on so at least don't need to make dinner!
Anyway, long story short - we are going straight onto full IVF - we discussed the less invasive (and cheaper!) iui, but he felt with my advancing years :-o :-/ that IVF would be better - and we could start in 6 weeks but chose to delay it till February next year, due to work and money etc - this is going to cost us just under £4k so we have just over 6 months to get some money put aside, so it won't be a totally Tesco credit card baby
Had bloods taken, consents signed, appoitnemnt for info evening arranged late in the year, appt made later in year with sister to teach me how to inject - also had a good rogering from dildocam apparently I have a fwe cysts on one ovary, but not enough to worry about ( esp in conjunction with bloods done already) and he commented that my ovaries were good and active and busy which apparently bodes well for making follies? ( I think thats what he said anyway!)
Am off to eat my pizza!
P.S - my BMI was 29 - under the magic 30!! yip yip yip! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Woohoo - great news hun.
We might be IVF buddies - I'm waiting to reach the top of the private waiting list at the hopsital and expect it to be around the turn of the year.
It seems like such a long way off, but I'm sure it'll fly in if the rest of this year is anything to go by.
xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | TBH will be so busy with work, we simply couldn't much as we wanted it, get it arranged sooner - sounds daft, but when you factor in the journey and overnight stays too for early am scans etc, I'm going to be taking rather a few days off!
Thanks all for your good wishes |
