I'm Currently Feeling: |  just wanted to say good luck huni. We are currently going threw IVF (ICSI) currently on CD 10. There are few different med protocal u can b on 4 us was put on Metoformin 500mg tab once daily from 25/6, upped to twice a day on 2/7 (still on them now) ,af came 4/7 , went to clinic for bloods & scan 5/7 started daily FSH INJEC (Menopur), bk at clinic for bloods & scan 8/7, started antagonist ( Orgalutran,Ganirelix) along with FSH 9/7, bk for scan and bloods 11/7, then another scan 14/7 (not sure what will happen then.

Sorry if that's caused any confusion. How long do you take the BCP for and what happens after that? | I take the BCP till the 25th. I go in for a blood test and scan to make sure my ovaries are quiet. Then I start inections on 28th.  |

| Hi akcher,
As you can probably see from my ticker I've just had my first IVF cycle and it was successful  I did the long protocol where I was suppressed for 2 weeks, had follicle stimulation for 10 days, egg collection and embryo transfer 2 days later. My clinic make patients wait for 18 days after egg collection before testing so I got my BFP on the 12th July and first scan is booked for the 31st July. It's been very hard with all the drugs/daily injections but it's been worth it and I am so glad as much as I could about IVF to help improve my chances of it working.
