Questions

I just read a few days ago about some vitamins and herbs that can help with the symptoms of PCOS.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...rbs.html?cat=5

So I'm currently taking a diabetes support pact, with a multivitamin with Lutien, alpha lipoic acid, cinnamon/chromium picolinate, selenium, folic acid, Co Q-10, and vitamin C. Well, I've been replacing the multivitamin with prenatal vitamins and giving it to my OH.

I plan on taking other vitamins, but I want to buy maybe one kind every week so I'm not having to replace them all at once.

Does anyone have any opinions or success stories about this?

Also, my lower right stomach has been hurting a lot. Not really constant, just brief twinges here and there, and it also hurt when we BD'd yesterday(sorry if TMI) does anyone know what this may be? If it's ovulation I'm not going to worry, but I'm wondering if I should be worried...

I read somewhere that a progesterone cream can be used to treat PCOS, but I can't find it. It's supposed to be OTC, but it's not there, and when I ask, no one seems to know that I'm talking about.

About Clomid, I'm thinking of asking for it, but do you think I should wait and see if Metformin will regulate me first? Do you have to be regulated to take it, and Can it be given to me by my OBGYN or do I have to go to a fertility
specialist for it?

Sorry if my questions are too much and are all rambled and out of order

I can't say anything about the vitamins, but I have heard of the progesterone cream. Although it was not related to PCOS, and I doubt it'll treat it.

About Clomid, you might want to look at the thread I started about clomid, entitled "CLOMID - I'm very upset". A lot of girls have shared their experiences, it might be helpful to you too.

Also, my OB prescribed the Clomid to me, not an infertility specialist. I'm not sure if that's the norm though. I am also irregular, he just gave me Provera to start my so that I can take the Clomid. I wrote all the details in my thread if you'd like to read.

Good luck! Hope you get your soon!
