CLOMID, my new journey - Join in ladies!

Hi ladies,

I had a doctor's appointment today. After jotting down my cycles, he realized that I haven't ovulated in the past 3 cycles.

So, he prescribed Clomid. Along with Provera to start my cycle in mid-July ( came twice in June: June 4 and June 22).

I am in complete shock and my world has been turned upside down. I cried all afternoon.

I don't know what to expect while on Clomid. I would appreciate it if you share your experiences.

I am very upset...

I take Clomid, I have felt absolutely fine on it, you have to be a bit careful as it can cause ovarian hyper-stimulation which is very painful. I notice a bit of extra twinging when I am taking it but no real effects. Occasionally I feel a little bit nauseas too but it goes away after about an hour. Clomid has done great things for loads of my friends so try not to worry hunni xx

I love Clomid, it helped me get pregnant (after 7 rounds of it lol).

It has some wierd side effects so make sure you read the leaflet thoroughly. Good luck and try not to worry too much! xxx

Aww hun, I've no experience of clomid myself but from what I've read it seems to work wonders. Try to stay positive, this means you are one step closer to getting your And at least your doc is trying to help, mine is doing nothing for me! Big hugs to you

Hi Choco,
I've just finished my forth round of the stuff and am having a break next month as I'm seeing the doc early to discuss more investigations.

The only thing that I would say irritated me the most were two things first was the hot flushes which came from no where, I tried taking it in the evenings for the last two cycles and it helped enormousley, so I would recommend doing this. Secondly I don't know if this was a side effect but I was very irritable mainly at work.

Apart from these absolutely no other side effects and so many people ahve had good results on it, so good luck and if ypu have any more questions please ask! X

Try not to worry or get upset, lots of the ladies on here have been prescribed Clomid and its helped lots of BFP's along the way.
