Can understand your upset but look at this way, you have been prescribed a drug that works and thats a good thing, i know most people wanna do it the Natural way! However i'd of moved mountains to full pregnant and would of drank and toke god knows what if it was proved to help.

Good luck honey let me know how it goes for you

That's great! I'll take it at night too and keep my fingers crossed.

Good luck to you too!

Hey

Did you mean you had a 36 day and a 37 day cycle.....thats what mine is at the moment, and my temps are rubbish this month so i dont think i've ovulated..... do you temp?

And as requested tons of coming your way and to everyone else.
Can i give one more bit of advice

Consultant said NOT TO do OPK's or Temping she said that we should just Make love every 2-3 days and that its stressful enough so try relax and dont pin your hopes on a pee stick.

Hi Carlyanne

I have the same sort of problem...37 - 38 day cycles....i didnt realise that clomid can help this....i have an appointment at the fertility clinic in aug

Did you notice anything different the month you tried clomid and got pregnant....did you wait till your cycle was 37 days and then test or you knew before as it may have made you ovulate earlier?

Thanks congrats xxx

Hey you,

Try not to be too depressed about it, I was so excited when I was prescribed it cos at least it means we finally have a real chance of having a baby and not just guess work. Had me first cycle last week. Been in for the internal scan where they measure the follicles and thickness of the womb. That happens on day 12 and the nurse said everything was happenng in the right way. Been given prediction kits for next 4 days then back on Monday for another scan if I haven't had a surge. Did first pee on a stick today and no surge yet but will keep going over the weekend.

Good luck and look on the bright side!

I took 2 rounds of Clomid before moving on to injections. I had some mood swings and hot flashes, but I think that was the only major side effects from the Clomid.
I hope it works for you and you get your ! Try not to feel down about needing extra help (drugs) to get pregnant. There are several very supportive, wonderful women on this forum who are going through the same thing. Some of us have really screwed up hormones and need that extra bit of pharmaceutical help to get our bodies under control.
