I'm Currently Feeling:  | Very bad news...
Yesterday I found out some horrific news. Spoke to our specialist and DH's sperm are very badly damaged. According to our test, they're not able to be used for IVF treatment 
We have to get another test done with no abstainence as the long the sperm is in there the more damaged they become. If this shows the same result then on the day of egg collection DH has to have surgery to recover sperm (hopefully viable) if this fails we will never have children together
Absolutely gutted...
We have not discussed sperm donation in debth but I don't think either of us would be up for it. The stress, wait and invasion that comes with adoption will probably be out of the question too, we've been through too much.
To think that we may now have to live with the fact that we cannot have children together is more than either of us can bare... |

Is it the sample as a whole damaged or are there any good ones in there that could possibly be used? Have they given you any kind if indications as to how/why they could be so badly damaged you might not be able to use them? |
