Another 'sperm in a cup' dilema!

Okay, so the sample has to be at the hospital within an hour of producing it, and only Monday-Friday 9-12. I have the car during the week, and DH gets a lift to work, so he can't do it on his own (plus he wants me to do it!!!). So, it'll involve a day off work.

As I'm having my internal scan on the 1st July, and it's also my birthday, DH has took the day off to come with me and spend the day together, so we said we'd do the deed then.

But, I've just realised that this will be CD14 (obviously as that's the day they want to do my scan on!! )

The infertility specialist told us to BH every 2 days from CD12 to CD20 on my cycle, and nothing in between. And the sample in the cup has to have been 'cooked' for 48 hours too. So DH isn't allowed to ejaculate from CD12 until CD14, then it'll be in a cup, then we also are supposed to BD on the same day, but it'll be a crap lot won't it?!!

I think about things far too much don't I?!!!

Yep

If its the best day to get it done then do it on that day and continue BDing the next day so hes got a day to recover.

Exclamation

Well if it aint one thing its another..

No u arent putting too much thought into it... u just got allot of stuff to do in such a short amount of time.. I dont kno what to tell u...all the stuff U gotta do is confusing ME and i only have to read it!! The best advice i can give u is.. What he has to do he only has to do this once right.. So if u cant hold up a week on that then it may jus have to be put first.. I can feel ur stress all the way over here.. Lol jus take things one at a time and seeing u are dealing wit doctors they kno how this thing works so if u have to push some stuff around.. Then thats jus what u gotta do. Just try to keep from goin crazy...if ur DH is anything like mine then while he is good intentioned.. He couldnt deal wit half the stress u do everyday.. So ur gonna have to become wonder woman lol but ull figure it all out! If u need some1 to vent to im here.

Me too!!!

Trickysgurl - Text speak is not really the 'done thing' on forums. And with me being almost 40, I didn't get a word you said!!! If you want to write that again in plain English, I may understand it. Thanks hun.
