Angry

Really Really Fed Up!!

Really sorry but I need to moan to someone so I thought all you lovely people who understand would be better to get it off my chest to! I am on cd 4, cycle number 3 of 100mg clomid also on 1700mg metformin. My progesterone levels for the past 2 cycles have been <1. I just feel really low today probably the clomid, I just wish people would understand and listen to me. My family just say dont worry there is always ivf! As if that is something to fall back on. I feel like screaming at everyone I want to have a baby now, we are ready why is it not happening even with the clomid and metformin. I have polycystic ovaries and a blocked right tube. I feel like I am not quite taking it in, as though I cant take in the fact that I have the above and that I am gonna struggle, I think I still expected it to happen straight away! Everyone around me is getting pregnant BY ACCIDENT!! So sorry for the rant!!

Firstly, don't ever apologising for ranting here, we've all done it, and we're all here to listen. We've all felt like you are at the minute hun. All felt angry and upset at the world around us. And all felt soooo jealous at the people who seem to get pg at the drop of a hat.

Feel free to shout, scream and cry. You're entitled to it.

I have no advise, just wanted to say that I hope you start feeling a little better soon.

Everything you are feeling is normal. If there is one thing I have learned, this place is a great place for ranting, b/c people here understand the heartache of infertility issues.

Damn family and friends or most people for that matter have no frigging idea what its like for us!

How dare they say to you 'theres always IVF'! That sounds like they're totally disregarding what you've been through and continue to go through. And ontop of that IVF is not an easy process. It is very expensive, involves lots of tests and waiting, many people choose not to do it because of what it involves AND it doesn't always work so when people say 'there is always IVF' it goes to show how little they really know

I'm so sorry that no one is being supportive hun. Can your doctor increase your clomid mg??

Sending a big your way.

Also DH mum has said if we can't have children naturaly maybe we shouldn't b having them DH just told her she can't say things like that unless she had bn in this situation she couldn't poss understand.... if u want if u searcg tears and hope project there is a video there mite help u to show this to your family to help them better understand your journey it helped me explain the things I couldn't say..

One of the really s**t things as when u having probs ttc everyone around u seems to get preg it is so hard u want to b happy for them but u feel a deep jealousy and hurt inside why them and not me...............

Thanks everyone, I do feel a bit better today. I have had a look at the tears and hope project video as well which is good, even dh agreed ha ha Anyway I am back at work tonight after 3 weeks off so that will probably help take my mind off things or then again maybe not!! Anyhow, I am having a lot of hot flushes at the mo on the clomid, only had them afterwards before so you never know it might work this month fingers and everything crossed. Thanks again for all you support and kind words al x
