I completely understand Alison. You are in a very similar situation to what I was in. I have PCOS and a blocked tube.
I was on 100mg Clomid and I got to round 7 and thought I was completely wasting my time - especially at the start of the month when Clomid what having an effect on my hormones. I was TTC for 3 years altogether and I was expecting Clomid to work on the first round last September... no luck there. Each month that passed I thought I had less and less chance and I became more and more bitter at those around me who were just falling pregnant. I would even scowl at the spotty girl in my local chippy who was about 7 months pregnant
Anyway, I had one more round left before IVF... and I had resigned myself to the fact that I was probably never going to get pregnant. I got to cd29, did a HPT and of course got a

so went out and got very drunk and just gave up on that month... then 2 days later, did another test just to be sure and I got a

!! Now I look back and think, all that upset, stress, heartache was completely worth it.
I don't mean to go on, but I thought if you heard that I was in a similar situation and got a positive outcome that it may help a little.
Best of luck with Clomid and you will get there soon. xxx
