We went up to GCRM on 12th to fill in consents etc we were also ment to be arranging another PESA for DH but here's the thing when we were there we were told couldn't arrange another PESA till and of July or start of August which would mean we would be unable to start ICSI till August or Sept and we don't want to keep putting it bk so we decided to just ship the vial that is stored at ninewells for dh PESA there I spoke to the embreoligists it ninewells and they said there is defo sperm in vial and there is enough for one tretment (reason only enough for 1 is it all in same vial and can only b defrosted once) do you guys think will b ok doing this? just it only same amount as they will get in PESA if they re do anyway and no matter what sample will be frozen then defrosted for treatment. Just really want to get started with this and tbh don't c how it would make difference!! I'm lucky we had made decision to change start date to July as AF came even earlier arrived on my way up for our wedding, just my luck eh LOL!!

Oooohhhhh how exciting!!! Are you busting to start? I think you've done the right thing hun, if the sperm has to be frozen anyway then there is no point in delaying this even more, you guys have waited so long for this

I can't believe we're going to be cycle buddies Well, might be a few weeks difference but close enough!!

Are you waiting for your last period before FSH shots? Were you put on the pill and have you started lucrin or synarel?

I'm not the pill right now, have to be on it for another 2 1/2 weeks then I start my lucrin shots then have to wait to be told when to start FSH.

I'm so happy to be going through this with someone else at the same time, well, not happy that someone else has to go through this horrible shit but you know what I mean.

We have to start pm'ing every few days to tell each other where we're at and how these drugs are affecting us!!!

I know what u8 mean huni, I would never wish some1 in situation but really glad to b able to share this with someone that will understand what going threw, I don't start anything till 2 days after cycle start listed it bit more on ur post, defo would b good to pm each other I know what u sayin about not wanting to get hope up to much it is such a rollercoaster!! Didi u have and ovarian assesment and AMH bloods done?

Yeah I had heaps of stuff done. Pelvic ultra sound, lap, hysteroscopy, D&C, uteral biopsy, dye test, heaps of blood tests etc. That was a few months ago now.

Thank god all of my pre-tests are OVER!!!

Did you have to get any tests?

I got ldz done also as I have decided to do egg sharing due to our experience of how infertility hurts I want to help another couple acheive a family, all my tests are over now glad of that!!!

AG maybe arrange to meet some day nxt week?? Just need to wait find out what day we need to go ninewells, we to transport dh sperm to go to GCRM collect container drive to ninewells collect sample then drive bk GCRM!!! lol! How things going with you AG what the process u go threw??

Yea that sounds good, ill be off work from Weds onwards (well 99% certain anyways lol)
even if mon or tues can still arange something.

Thr process were going through is down regulation by nose spray, stimulation by injections then booster shot and procedure 24hrs later then progesterone suppositories and HCG shot (hgc? cant remember which day round lol) untill testing day.

At the moment were onto the stimulation injections.

I'm glad things are working out for you. I hope you all get your bfps first time round, and will be stalking all three of you - wannabmum, arcanegirl, and fjl - to see how things are going, as I am starting IVF in approx 6 months.
