Hi all, have been away for a while just needed a break really! So hi to those that remember me and to all the newbies!

Im on my 3rd round of clomid and so far nothing. A couple of my friends have had the lap op and both had been diagnosed with endemetriosis. One of them had it by chance as she couldn't have the normal hsg. The other one is about 2 months pregnant. Also when she saw the specialist for op her immediately picked up that she had pcos and endo. As this was just by chance and she had no symptoms makes me wonder if I should be given this lap op to see if there is anything going on?

Is anyone else in or had a similar situation?

If Clomid hasnt worked then it wouldnt hurt to suggest a Lap.

Ill never understand why they dont do these before giving clomid, if you have blocked tubes for example then clomid wont work but they wouldnt know that untill a lap is done.

Hi Pixielou,

When you say that you are on your third round of Clomid and so far nothing do you mean that you haven't conceived or that you are not producing follicles? Are you being scanned while on Clomid? Clomid is normally prescribed for 6 months at a time as it can take up to 6 months for conception to occur. I am just starting into my third cycle of Clomid tomorrow. I am being scanned mid-cycle and know that the Clomid is working for me as I am producing mature follicles and for this reason I am not worrying too much and hoping that I will conceive in the next 4 cycles. I also fell pregnant last year on my second cycle of clomid but miscarried but I do have great faith in it.

I'm on my fourth round now of Clomid and what I mean by nothing yet is that I havent conceived. I'm being scanned on day 12 etc and producing mature foliicles.
