Hi i am new!

Hello EVERYONE!!

I am new here and wanted to say hello and share my story and get/give support to others!

I am from sunny Scotland and i am a married mum of two boys (5&9) from a previous relationship, and i have been trying to conceive a much wanted baby with my hubby for 3 years!!

I have been seen by the assisted conception unit since last July and was getting fertility test done, my baseline hormones where on the low side so they could not tell if i was ovulating or not and hubbys sperm had a good amount but some where slow!

I was on Depo for a year before we started ttc BIG mistake i feel, but thats another debabte haha!!

So in april i fell pregnant natuarly and we where over the moon to say the least and told EVERYONE including the kids, but at 7 weeks my angel died it was a long two week process from finding out my HCG was not doubling to actually having treatment to clear out my womb as i had a silent m/c!

That was the most heartbreaking time of my life, BUT i am on the up now and ttc again and my arrived yesterday and i have booked my 21 day progesterone blood test, it lands on a Sunday so have to wait till the mon will that make a difference??

I am so very scared this time, and i was also VERY worried i would have to wait 3 years to fall PG again and that i would not been seen at ACU, BUT the hospital have still kept me on there books as at one of the scans they seen some poly cysts on my ovary

I am also over weight and i am also seeing a specialist midwife from the ACU to support me in loosing weight and that is a fantastic oppertunity to have, i had my first appointment with her last thur and i am doing really well, as i am so determined to loose weight and if i have probs falling PG this time i can say well look i am helping myself PLEASE help me!!!

So wow i have gone on and on a tad, but just thought i would let you know a bit about ickle ol me.

to you all and i look forward to chatting xxx

Welcome to BnB. I have been here about a month, and already I have found a great amount of friendship and support here. I too, am TTC #3. I have actively TTC for almost 19mths now. But, we never used b/c since my daughter was born...3 1/2 years ago. I lost two babies...Aug. & Dec. 2007. They are a huge hole in my heart, and I am having a hard time still with losing them. Maybe it would be easier if I was able to get PG again? I think that definitly adds to the pain. I have had *some* tests done, but, I am going back again in Aug. to get an endometrial biopsy. I have already had an HSG done (celar) and blood work-up. I want to get DH's sperm tested, but I don't know.... Neways...welcome! I hope you and I both get our much wanted BFP's very soon.
