Unhappy

Concerned about some pains on both ovaries

Well as you guys know, my back went out about 3 weeks ago. Now Im wondering if this is all related.

The day my back went out I was about Mid cycle.... close to ovulation. I had the dull lower back ach and some twinges in my ovaries which let me to think possible ovulation. But then BAM! my back started really hurting. Very lower back almost tail bone area.

The problem is, when I stand... Not only does my back start hurting , I feel so much pressure there and my ovaries really hurt... I just had AF last week. I was due to see my DR for my Pap but the showed... I have rescheduled for this friday. So I am going to call them and try to explain this to them.

I have had a cyst on my left ovary in the past and know what it feels like, but never have I had this on Both sides. Im a bit concerned. Does anyone know what this could be? Anyone gone through this before? Can cysts cause back pain?

Did you ever see someone when your back was out? It sounds like it might be connected to throwing your back out, it can affect soooooooooo much.

Apart from that i'm not sure hun, I hope its nothing though.

I spoke to my GP when it went out... but never went in for an exam. Just so weird about it being in the front

No idea, my niece had a cyst, but I don't remember if it caused her back pain or not. You really do need to get in and have it checked out Good luck with your appointment on Friday.

Aww hun, I'm not sure. Perhaps with your back out it's putting more pressure on the hips and that area to support you, which can cause some achinng, like using muscles you aren't use to using.

Let us know how you get on at the GP

I'm not sure sure Suz I think cysts can cause pains but not everyone will feel that - I had a cyst somewhere thats showed up on a scan and it wasn't casuing me pain but its different for everyone sometimes.

Defo seek more advice about it if I was you x
