I'm Currently Feeling: | I just got home.... now comes the LONGEST 2 WEEKS OF MY LIFE!!!!
Everything seemed to go well. DH sperm was "great" and the insemination only took a few minutes |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My DH is going out of town for business on Monday, and not returning until Friday, so I will be working, then going to parent's house for dinner all week. At least that will break up my week a little bit... I guess I better start thinking of some stuff to do! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It did not take long at all! My DH and I got to the office around 7:45am, and there was a waiting room FULL of people (all there for the same thing) We dropped off the specimen for the sperm to be washed and prepared, then waited...and waited... and waited. Finally around 10am, I got called back, took off my bottoms.. and waited some more! The nurse came in and verified that the sample was mine... It was mixed with an extender fluid at our house, and it was a very pretty pink color.
The actual procedure itself took maybe 5-10 minutes at most! It did not hurt, felt very similar to a pap smear. I did feel a pinching for a split second. After the sperm was on its way, I had a fertility packet inserted into me, which I had to keep in for 2.5-3 hours. Think along the lines of a BIG plastic coated tampon. We were instructed to have sex last night......

I'm Currently Feeling: | thanks for that, I assumed it would be similar to having HSG which sounds about right, not heard about the tampon doolie! |
