I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi I just had my first progesterone blood test yesterday (CD24), so I'll be getting those results on June 18.
I have a feeling I have a progesterone deficiency and estrogen dominance. I have all the classic signs:
spotting for 2-3 days before AF
fat accumulation around hips and thighs
anxiety/insomnia
etc... |

I got my progesterone checked on D21 and it was a measly little 19. That is BAD. My Specialist says 30 is desirable so I'd say your 27.4 is right there.
I'm taking Pregnaplan multivits plus the odd tablet of magnesium to see if I can boost my progesterone levels. If anyone else knows more of how to do this, I'd appreciate all advice.
I'm on round 2 of Clomid now and Doc is hoping my progesterone levels will rise, even though I'm still on 100mg. If it doesn't work this time, then she'll bump me up to 150mg.
And hurrah for stopping smoking! I'm told it's a huge struggle but you've cleared one month. Stellar stuff. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | 27.5 is a very good number! Unless you're on fertility drugs (like Clomid) then anything over 10 is a definite positive for O, while numbers 5-10 are indicative...but they do like numbers around 30 or higher if you're on Clomid, etc...Ia lower number doesn't mean you're not Oing (even when on Clomid), it's just that a higher number is better when on fertility drugs. If you're not on them and you got that number, then you've got nothing to worry about there!
I had mine checked last summer and it was 19 and my doctor told me that it was really good and that I was Oing. |
