Can't stop crying

Well, I got back from the dr. a little while ago. It appears as if I had no ovulation at all from the 150 mg of Clomid, so I am now starting on injections of Follistim. Even though my HSG cleared out my right tube, since I am not ovulating, my Dr. does not want to waste any more time on the Clomid. So, today has already cost me over $2,000.00. I am so depressed.

sorry for the depressing post.

Thanks.. A little background on me-- I did not have a period until I was 19, and that was "forced" due to taking progesterone and premarin.. Got on birth control pills and had regular periods, as long as I took the pills... If I stopped the pills, I had no period. I stopped taking birth control in September of 2005 (after losing everything in Hurricane Katrina, my emotions were all over the place, so I decided I was ready to have a baby- which probably was not the best idea, but I guess I felt like I needed to be in control of SOMETHING.....) I did not have a period for about a year, until I went back to my gyno and got back on birth control. Period came like clockwork again... Last year, DH and I decided we were ready to really start trying, but I got a really bad staph infection that messed with my immune system. Got back on birth control to give my body enough time to get stronger.... Then my former gyno put me on 100 mg of Clomid. My body had absolutely no reaction to it... then did not have a period, so took 2 rounds of progesterone, with no period.
After the 2nd unsuccessful progesterone cycle, my dr referred me to a fertility specialist, who put me on MORE progesterone (no period from that) but he still wanted to see if the Clomid did anything, so put me on the 150 mg last week. I had an HSG last week, which found I had a blocked tube. The dye pushed the blockage through, but since my problem is the lack of ovulation, the blocked tube did not really mean too much!

Sorry for rambling, but this forum is the one place that I feel like I can pour my heart out..... I love my husband and friends, but they just don't "get it"

Oh Honey! I am so sorry. I really was praying for you. I really hope this next step works out.

I go in tomorrow to see if the 50mg Clomid worked for me but since I have zero CM and no symptoms that I can notice, I am not holding my breath. *sigh* PM me if you need anything or want to talk. I am always here to listen.
