TTC number with mild endometriosis

Anyone else having or had problems ttc or not with endo?

I have been diagnosed with mild endo from the LAP i had done, they removed some of the tissue while doing the LAP so i'm hoping this will improve my chances of getting a BFP

any tips or advice would be great

xx

Hiya

I am new but I suffer from endometriosis and have been trying for my first baby for 1 year this month. Not a happy anniversary sob.

I have other problems like treatment for cancer of the cervix and my endometriosis caused cysts on my ovaries which had to be drained and removed. My endometriosis isn't mild it is probably medium. I have caught twice which resulted in m/c BUT I have still caught TWICE in 12 months and my Consultant has advised me it is probably unrelated and just bad luck.

Now is the time to 'get bonking' as you are probably more likely to get pg now that the endo nodules have been removed via lap. (Although by looking at your FF charting you are doing it for both of us - he's lucky your hubby!!!!)

Good luck.

Lol

No experience with this myself but I do have a niece who had endometriosis, quite severe too. She had to have surgery to have the fibers removed, and they removed one of fallopian tubes because of a cyst. She conceived her second child within 4 months of having the surgery!

i have adenomyosis (endo of the uterus) and im also waiting to have a lap done. (This is our 10th month ttc). I was just wondering do you guys suffer extreme period pain( im off work for the first to days each month).

Im glad your lap went well! Were you in pain afterwards? Do they put a cathater in you for the surgery? The odds are good for you now youve had your surgery!!! Good luck!

I dont get extreme period pain, my pain is more extreme during and after when my period is near...usually 3-4 days before it comes its sooooo bad!!!

yes i had shoulder ache (painkillers take the pain away) and also the cuts were sore but it wasnt really bad, just take the pain killers and get lots of rest....
nah they dont put on in, you have to be able to go to the loo and everything fine after the operation so that they let you go home....i was fine going to the loo just feel dizzy a lot after but thats from the drugs......

Its definetly worth doing if it helps me get a BFP soon xxx

Good luck chick xx

Hiya Carolina (TMI in this post but I hope it helps)
Yes I get extreme pain when my period starts but worse since I started taking clomid in March. My pain starts the week before my period is due until day 3. My pain is worse when it is getting ready to begin full flow as I old blood stain for a day before the heavy new blood and severe cramps start. My pain tends to worsen also when I am opening my bowels or my bowels are moving. I do get pain when I am in desperate need of a wee and if I hold it too long. A wonder remedy prescribed to me by my Consultant is Mefanamic Acid in tablet form - it takes away the pain within half an hour, perhaps you could ask for it to try. I couldn't live without it and it stops me bunging myself up with co-codamol, co-dydramol and Tramadol.

On a happier note:- They do say that painful periods can be a sign of successful ovulation as well so sometimes it can be a good thing if we can get through the pain.

Lol

hi rachelle...i have the same sypmtoms as you except my pain doesnt start until about 3 days before af and last until about 5 days after it starts. I get ibs quite bad and i get pain if i need to empty my bladder aswell. I tend to need the toilet quite a lot in general and cant hold it in! I get brown or pink blood the day before af kicks in and i get lower back pain aswell! Ive been given mefanamic acid in the past by my GP i found it worked less than normal painkillers. When i saw the gynaecologist he prescribed me tranexamic acid and it hasnt done anything for me either ! Its good to hear of other people with similar problems as i dont know anyone who goes through this!

Bird24, Im glad you werent in too much pain! I had the fear that they would have to put a cathater in before your put to sleep for the op! Im gald to hear they dont!Im sure it will be worth it for you! Ive read your more fertile for about 6 months after!!
