Provera?

Hi Ladies,

Has anyone had to take Provera to force a cycle? I finished my 10 days worth of pills yesterday and now I am just waiting for the

. I am just curious if anyone knows how long it should take?

I just want to start my Clomid!

Hi gen, i don't want to burts your bubble as this is what happened to me, nothing happened, the meds didn't work for me. i took 2 tabs for 5 days and 4 weeks later nothing. I eventually went on to premelle cycle 5 and 2weeks later AF, but no AF after the premelle cycle 5. I am trying to think of your problems but i just hit a

But i know my sister drinks provera like every second month to start AF and she waits about 7-10days befor AF, but sometimes she also goes without AF for 4-6 months even after drinking the provera.

For the past 3 months i have been on postoval and i have just started my third regular 28/29 day cycle with 1800mg Metformin and Clomid 100mg from CD5-9.

Good luck hun as i know some other ladies also have taken provera and it worked for them

I dont know if Provera is different from the Norethisterone I have been taken but it witch came 3 days after last pill for me!

I took my last dosage of generic provera last Sunday and still no AF... I am planning on calling my doctor today. I had also taken 2 rounds of another type of progesterone (since January) and nothing happened... I have not had a period since December 11th, and that was only b/c I was on birth control at the time to force that sucker to come so I could start a unsuccessful round of 100 mg of Clomid.
Don't give up faith- your doctor just needs to find the right combination of drugs for you! I am anxious myself to start on the 150 mg of Clomid ASAP!!!

Every single time I took provera (which was a LOT) I got

on the fifth day off of it. The only time I didn't is when it turned out I was actually pregnant. Good luck!
