Like Suz, I really didn't want to post in this section, but seems the time has come.
The woman I spoke to at the gynea/infertility clinic said that as we had been ttc #3 for so long, we were classed as having secondary infertility. Not nice to be given a name for it.
Anyway, chin up and the countdown begins for our first appointment at the clinic on the 28th May.
Is there anyone else here that has been told they have secondary infertility?? I'd love to know what we can expect.
I dont think they should be saying that to you until you have your appointment... no need in stressing anyone out before its a proved fact... Best of luck for your appointment
DH and I have been TTC#2 for nearly 3 years now, since coming off of Depo (last injection was May 2005), so yeah...I'd say we're experiencing secondary infertility. DH refused his SA last summer, so we're kinda stuck as far as fertility treatment and any more testing on my side. Had bloodwork done early last summer and things checked out...also had a scan to look for anything abnormal (like cysts, endometrial lining thickness, etc) and apparently everything looked ok. Doc told me I'd have a lap and dye if SA checked out, but obviously haven't gotten that far. So, that puts us at month 33 and a bit and nothing...
