I started Clomid (1st time) 7th April. 50gm's cd 2 -6
Had my blood test last week and that killed!!! They tried my left arm then my right then my left hand and Managed to get blood from my Right Hand.

Any ways i called today for results, reading came back as 29 My Consultant is On holiday and so is her assistant secretary! Spoke to another secretary who gave me the results as 29 and she said the results said that it is viewed that 30 is a good sign of ovulation, when my GP a few months ago said 20 was a good sign!

So here's my question i'm not sure what the hells going on!

Me and the OH BD on tuesday and after we both noticed a redish fluid (sorry this will be a TMI post) and then last night (cd 27) i had a brownish mucus! Which i have never had, when usually arrives its all Guns blazing straight away! This mucus has been there this morning but not there since.
And my cycle is on average @38days.

The secretary said that she will get a consultant to call me back but it might not be today, now if this the i have then do i start the 2nd round and up it to 100mgs...... Because this will mean i will have to start the tablets before monday!

Any advice?

My GP's called me.....
And basically told me 29 was a fantastic reading and that, what i was experiencing was likely not my AF, and to continue with this cycle. She did say that the slight bleed could be egg implantation!! But not to get to excited incase it isnt

She said if AF did arrive then to continue at 50mg's

Thanks, well i'm usually @ 38 day cycle so not for another 10days!
But then my blood test shows i've O'd so then i'm really not sure

Good news with the ovulation ... As you know I was taking clomid for a couple months and it really screwed with AF. I'm usually 27 day cycle, and from CD25 I get slight brown staining, and full AF starts around lunchtime CD27, which meant that the next morning would be counted as CD1, and my AF would be over by CD3 - all gone no staining no nothing. Which was great.

However, when taking clomid I got slight staining from CD26, and my AF started a day later than normal, lasted for about a week, and was really heavy. I also had terrible headaches, sweating, and what I think were ovulation pains - which I don't usually suffer from.

If it were me, I definitely wouldn't start your clomid until you've got bright red AF and confirmed that you're defo not PG.

Well as yet still no AF, and the Brownie mucus has only shown itself on and off from thursday night. I'm day 29 today
Yep the GP said not to start Clomid until AF really shows up and if it does remain on 50mg's
I'm pretty cross that the hospital i go too didn't bother to call me back!!!
