Just been wondering, if you have read my previous posts about me being diagnosed with PCOS do you have to be TTC for 12 months before you are referred to a specialist or because you have PCOS you can be sooner?
I really think it will depend on if you are ovulating or getting periods. If the witch doesn't visit at least every 3 months, you can go to a specialist sooner because it is unhealthy. Also, if you have cysts or have had cysts, you may get to go sooner.
I think that you should ask for a referral. The worst thing that they can say is no, right?
I went 6 months after coming off the pill as my cycles weren't settling, they were getting even longer and obviously not right. Now diagnosed with pcos. SO if its obvious there is a prob, I would go to Dr.
Good Luck!
My sil has PCOS and after losing one tube she has 2 beautiful girls, It took 2 years to get caught with Sophie and another 4 years to have molly, So good luck and hope you get what you want.
