when is the best time to BD

morning everyone
My sticker says I'm ovulating but I'm not, my cycles are irregular so thank god for the ov tests. But I think tomorrow or the day after the ov test will be positive. My DH sperm count is low so we are trying to BD every 2 or 3 days in the fertile time. Which day do you think is best, the day the test is positive or the day after? Ovulation does not happen the day of the positive does it? I always think is the day after.

I would go on the day of the positive test, at most an opk can pick up ovulation 36 hours before its meant to happen but you might not always test right at the start of your surge. You may test in the middle of it or at the end.

Hi,

Well, We BD'd on the first day the OPK said positive, which was the 9th, we did the following 2 days and that was it for that month.......I'm pregnant!!!

I would go for it as much as poss for the fertile bit, which is really only 3 -4days!!! Unless you need to rest for sprem to build up of course!

With mine, as i mentioned, the first test was the 9th and we BD' 9th, 10th and 11th, my stats show that i conveived on the 12th!!!!

Hope this helps

i think that anywhere up to 5 days is fertile before you get the positive opk and then 2days after it especially the next day after opk +

good luck

I didn't use any OPKs, but I bd'd every other day and on cd14 I got o cramps at night so we bd'd on cd15 in the morning - I think that is when I caught it... but we carried on bd-ing every other day until cd21.

Good luck.
