low sperm count

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has actually conceived with their husbands a bit below average sperm count.

If we do need treatment on nhs with artificial insemination etc, will there be a long wait do you know?

Thanks,

Lisa.

My DH's sperm count is low. we've been ttc for 10 months now but I dont know if the problem is that or something else, doctor said there is not reason for not getting pregnant, just the chances are less. We have a daughter already and I got pregnant the first month of trying but we dont know if he had this problem back then.

My oh has a low sperm count (he had one result that was way below normal and one that was slightly below) and we conceived last month so fingers crossed and good luck!

Were going down the IUI route, it took us about a year to get to the point of starting the treatment.

my dad has a low sperm count, and him and my mum tried for 5 years to conceive me and my sister.
they ended up having to get a sperm doner,
so techniqually my biological father is a sperm doner but if this is the road you have to take (which i hope it isnt)..the doctors suggest you tell your kids that there dad isnt there biological one..but my advice, being one of those kids is that i'd rather not no.

good luck ttc..best wishes xx

Have you considered getting DH to take Zinc supplements? As they boost sperm count
Worth getting some
