We've been ttc for 10 months now. I wonder if the problem is that I always have some spotting sometimes 5 days after ov and then a little bit every day until AF. it could happen up to 6 days in a row and then normal AF. My cycles are very irregular, they used to be 27 days and lately they are just 22 to 24 days. I use ov test as with such an irregular cycle would be imposible to know when I do ovulate. every month I got a positive on a different day, sometimes day 10, sometimes day 12. I went to the doctors few months ago because I've got milk in my breasts as well, just a little bit but my daugther is nearly 2 and I havent been breast feeding since she was 2 months. My hormone results came back normal so nothing there, they tested for ovulation and very good results as well so I am producing eggs. My OH has a sperm count not very good, just 1.2 when it should be 2. Sorry about the long post but I hope someone can tell me if the spotting can be the problem becuase my GP said that is nothing to worry about, they refered me to the Gyn but they have a long waiting list.
i get spotting 2 days after ovulation which is considered 'normal' but then i get it 3 days before and until af shows sometimes before that and that is classd as 'not normal' i read that somewhere but i dont know what it means maybe its a hormone imbalance. i have adenomyosis so it could be due to that or endo? Ive only had it the last 6 months and this is my 9th cycle ttc so im in a similar position to you...but at the same time maybe ts nothing to worry about! I havnt been able to find much on this topic!
At least it's not in my head as the doctor seems to think! thanks for your post Carolina,It sounds exactly what is happening to me.I've got that since last setember, I never used to have those spotting days. I think there is something wrong and I'm sure that is the cause of not getting pregnant if the womb is bledding when it's supposed to get ready for the implantation. I've started this month taking some herbs to try and regulate my cycle so I'd let you know if I get the spotting again
glad i can help! ive been doing acupuncture for over a month and im taking agnus castus, evening primrose (this is my second month with them), i noticed a slight reduction but then had more pink spotting than i would usually get the day before af (quite a bit in pants usually only a tiny bit) the rest of my spotting is usually just when i wipe. This month i am also taking dong quai (which i think is meant to be the best one for spotting) and milk thistle which helps your liver get rid of excess oestrogen. I wont guage this month though because i have shingles and my temps say i havnt ovulated yet and i always do (2 days ago) so im going to ignore this month!

I've just found on the net the herbs you are taking(I hadnt heard about before) . There is one 'Higher Nature Dong Quai & Agnus Castus' I think I'll try it next month if I am not lucky this one, fingers crossed. My spotting is just when I wipe too, I'm reading you and it seems the post is mine! I cant believe it. Hope the acupuncture and the herbs work for you. get well soon

I also get spotting before AF, sometimes for a day or two before and sometimes up to 4. I told my gyn about it at my last yearly and she didn't seem that concerned, but now I am if it sounds like a problem I didn't use to spot, AF used to just appear for me, but come my yearly in Dec. if no BFP I will be sure to mention it if it is preventing me from conceiving.
