well im going to the Drs today armed with 3 and half charts which all say i ovulate on cd26 and AF comes between cd31-34 meaning i have a short luteal phase. Ive read on internet and it suggests you have to have 3 cycles which show a short luteal phase before anything is done so i hope she listens. I also have a cbfm which said i ovulated at the same time as well last month so im not having any of her telling me that "charting is not accurate", might chuck my monitor at her if she says that!!
I just feel that she will say we have to wait for 12 months now, which is only 4 months away anyway but i really hope she doesn't.

have any of you girlies gone to Drs with short luteal phase? when did they start to do tests?

well quite amazed with Drs really thought id be in for a struggle but cos i went in with my charts and my cbfm readings she seemed to listen more. Dr wants DH to do a sperm test to rule out thats he's functioning ok, which i think he is as he has a daughter already then she said that she will refer me to a fertility specialist. She said going from my charts and cbfm theres no need to do cd21 tests as we know im ovulating just not at the right time. Ive already had the other tests done in Jan to rule out thyroid etc. DH is gonna go to Drs on Fri hopefully.
She dismissed the short luteal phase bit sort of but acknowledged that i ovulate "late" in my cycle and ideally there needs to be 7-14days after ovulation for an egg to implant. Im lucky if i get to 6 days.
Im glad i went and feel quite positive that things are hopefully moving forward. She said keep charting using cbfm so when i do get my appt ill have more evidence to show them.

sperm test tommorrow, hope they don't want DH to perform on demand, don't think he'd be able to!!
